Designed by Richard Seifert & Partners and built in 1978, The Spice Building (8 Devonshire Square) is located in a prominent position on the central courtyard of the Devonshire Square estate in the City of London. Recently renovated and remodelled by John Robertson Architects, The Spice Building now provides 135,000 sq. ft of Grade A office accommodation.
Key improvements have been made to the building including a repositioned core and the redesign of the front of the building with enhanced entrance and reception facilities.
In addition, a conversion to the ninth floor has introduced an entire new rooftop floor creating extra office space and a terrace with amazing views across the city for tenants to use.
Shadbolt were asked to assist with the development, manufacturing and supplying bespoke FSC® certified Egger Alpine White laminated flush rebated washroom cubicle fronts and factory primed FSC® certified FD30 and FD60 fire performance doors and doorsets.
